Window into Art

A Window Into Art has been designed as a workbook, primarily to encourage the creative arts and to provide the "starting blocks" for church groups and counsellors.

This book can be used by anyone interested in forming such a group. The readings, artwork, drawing and painting techniques are all included in this concise and easy to follow book so that it is not necessary for the leader to have particular expertise. Although the primary focus is on the graphic art, the themes make a good starting point for drama, poetry, writing or indeed any art form and can be used by Christian counselling centres as a means of emotional healing. It is a method which is increasingly being recognised today.

The author has personal experience of running similar arts groups and, as a qualified counsellor, has worked with people using art as therapy. She has received many expressions of thanks from members who found a new world opening and a talent they never knew they possessed.
